From the outset, it was clear that both organisations shared a common goal: to support the communities in which we work. Approaching Horsfall House with the idea of joining forces very much felt like a natural step for us. We have had a long history with them and believed that by combining our resources and expertise, we could create meaningful change for the people they support.
Together, we’ve organized various fundraising events, including charity auctions, sponsored walks, and a bingo night. Through the social engagement we have created at Ford-Loveday Estate Agency we have been able to promote these events and fundraising intiaitives to generate support from the local community. Meanwhile, Horsfall House has provided their expertise to help support these events, including encouraging participation from its staff and supporters.
The funds raised through our joint efforts have enabled Horsfall House to improve its facilities, enhancing the lives of its residents. The collaboration has generated widespread support and appreciation from the community, enhancing the reputations of both organisations.

Charity of the Year

Sponsor an Event
Our Horsfall House fundraising events provide a wide range of opportunities for your company, from sponsoring an event, to donating a prize towards a raffle.
We hold at least 15 exclusive events every year, raising significant sums of money for the charity. These events include everything from golf days, Christmas markets and our well-renowned Charity Walk through Gatcomebe Park and Avening Court, amongst others.

Donate a Prize
Fundraising is such an important aspect of all Horsfall House events. We could not achieve our goals without the generosity of many of our prize donors.
We are always looking for an array of luxury items, hampers, holidays and experiences for our auctions and raffles. Any such contribution will be gratefully received, and in return, we will acknowledge your gift, or that of your company, in appropriate media coverage.

Join our Fundraising Committee
Being part of our Fundraising Committee is extremely rewarding without being too demanding on your time. You’ll attend quarterly meetings and work closely with the Head of Marketing and Fundraising to help make our fundraising events successful.
Horsfall House also relies on volunteer committee members to:
- Sell tickets and invite guests
- Find sponsors
- Source donations and auction prizes
- Secure advertisements in local publications
