Quality Management Policy

We continuously assess and monitor the outcomes for users of our services. This includes:

  • annual surveys of satisfaction of residents, clients and their relatives. We use this feedback to implement changes or improvements in the main home, Day Centre and Home Care
  • audits of our practice such as medication administration, care documentation
  • audits of tissue viability (skin integrity) in line with guidance from the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP)
  • audits of incidents, accidents or untoward events
  • annual audits of our practice to prevent and control infection in line with the Essential Standards for Quality and Safety (CQC)

We work closely with professional organisations such as the Mental Health Team and Care Home Support Team (NHS Gloucestershire) to ensure that our care is in line with best practice and best meets the interests of our users.

We also undergo regular regulatory inspections of our Catering facilities by Environmental Health. We are proud to have systematically maintained the highest level of Five Stars. The most recent inspection took place in November 2011.
